Autumn is the time for all sorts of fungi growing along the cliff tops and the army ranges. Kimmeridge bay is about 3-4 hours walk from April Thatch or 20 minutes by car when the army ranges are open! Very popular with surfers and wind-surfers along with geologists and fosil hunters. It also has a marine conservation exhibition as well as being one of the first marine conservation areas in the country. Great for swimming, diving and rock pooling.
