Accommodation
We are a creative family household and we welcome guests to our home and provide a double en-suite bedroom (pictured below) with an en-suite shower room, TV and tea & coffee making facilities.
Sometimes we also have another double Bedroom 2 available which shares the family bathroom.
April Thatch is a grade 2 listed cottage with parts thought to date back to the early 16 hundreds, with a thatch roof and some very old cob walls. It is surrounded by the garden and much wildlife with rolling fields and woods all around ...
... inside we have tried to enhance it's age and beauty with clean simple styling, stripped wood floors through-out most of the cottage, along with white walls and contemporary paintings and sculptures.

Full English breakfast (variations or simpler if required) is included and served in our dinning room usually between 8.30 & 9am.
We are sorry but the house is not really suitable for young children under 16 and we also have a very-very old (but very friendly) golden retrever (Daisy), so at present we unfortunately cannot accept other pets.
We charge: £75 for the en-suite and £70 for the other room per night, based on a couple sharing and including the breakfast. £5 extra for single night bookings.
Weekend bookings: we are sorry but usually we do not take a single Friday or Saturday night booking in advance or less than a three night booking over a bank holiday weekend.
Long stay discounts may be available upon request.
